MY MISSION

I want to spread my knowledge of environmental toxins and healthy living. I believe that limiting our exposure to environmental toxins can help us to live a balanced and healthy life: body, mind, and spirit!

ABOUT ME:

I am a former Special Education teacher with over fifteen years of teaching experience. I started teaching for the public school system in 2009 before Wifi was installed in every classroom and every child had a cell phone.  In college, I learned that 1 in 110 children had Autism.  Today, sixteen years later, the rates are even higher 1 in 44.  If science and western medicine are so advanced why would these rates rise?  Based on my research, there is a direct correlation between vaccines, diet, heavy metals, exposure to electromagnetic-radio frequencies, and other environmental toxins and the rise in Autism rates. In college, I learned a lot of strategies for students with Autism, but none addressed the root cause or were that effective.  How can you truly help someone without knowing the cause of their disorder, especially when the cause could potentially continue inflicting more damage?  I felt the same way about ADHD and the other learning disabilities that I was encountering on a more frequent basis.  It was not until I did my own research that I was able to find the true source(s).  Today, dyslexia seems to be the new label in education that no one questions.

The majority of my experience has been working with middle school students.  When I first started teaching, most of the students’ behaviors were typical for their age based on my experience and how I and my peers were at that age. However, after more advanced technology was introduced, like Wifi and cell phones, I began seeing some very shocking and disturbing behaviors in my students.  The last year that I taught at public school, I realized that no amount of professional development or new teaching or behavioral strategies could ever help my students.  The students with emotional disturbances that I noticed had bad habits and underlying issues at home that shut down any chance I had of helping them.  As a teacher wanting to help, it was very disheartening to see.  Some of the unhealthy habits included a poor diet and playing video games until 2am.  Then coming to school tired, unfocused, and irritated.  Often times I saw children acting out because their parents were not spending time with them. They would talk to me about it.  I would communicate this to their parents, but nothing ever seemed to change.  I also saw a rise in suicidal thoughts and students wanting to do self-harm.  I got into teaching to help students, I was no longer doing this in the public school system.

Armed with the knowledge that I have now and with parent and child cooperation, I know that things can be turned around. Let me preface that I am not trying to tell anyone how to live their lives. However, I cannot recommend certain strategies without addressing some of the underlying issues.  In this day and age, as internet censorship continues to grow.  It is more and more difficult to sift through the many lies to find the TRUTH.  I want to provide you with some of the research that I have found that is very helpful.  I encourage you to do your own research as well.
